Rani Mukherjee says that she does not need a man to complete her life


While she may be linked with director Adiya Chopra actress Rani Mukherjee made it clear, in an Women's day special event, that one does not need a man to be happy. Rani Mukherjee said, "Why does a women need to get married to be complete. She can fullfill her life on her own and she does not need to get married. A man does not have to complete her, she can complete herself on her own."

Even before being quizzed about the alleged man in her life -- Aditya Chopra -- Rani Mukherjee was off with this strong statement. But she was around long enough for us to notice that Rani has definitely piled on the pounds. Could it be all that loving in her life? Well she certainly was not open on that. However, she stuck to safe topics like the most memorable films in her career.

Hovered around rumours of alleged marriage, Rani Mukherjee stuck to the fact that she does not need a man in her life to make it complete. The question though that remains unanswered is whether the actress-director duo are romantically involved?

Rani engaged?

Grapevine is abuzz with rumors that producer-director Rani Mukherjee has received an engagement ring from Aditya Chopra.

It might be true as Aditya has filed a petition seeking divorce from his first wife at the Bandra Family Court. But what prevents the couple from coming out in the open with their relationship? Quite apparently it is Aditya's father, Yash Chopra, who is not too happy with this alliance.

Therefore the lucky mascot of the Chopra group moved out his family home and is now staying in a five-star hotel in suburban Mumbai. In fact, Aditya's parents have already made it known publicly that they are against their son divorcing his wife whom they adore.

Which, indirectly, means that if Aditya’s marries Rani, he will have to do so against his parents’ wishes? It is speculated that it was on Sunday that Aditya had given Rani an engagement ring a day earlier when both met secretly at the hotel where he has been staying.

Wedding bells for Rani Mukherjee?

Well we are not sure but if the rumors circling in Bollywood come true then we can soon see a divorce and then a wedding in the tinsel town.

It is rumored that director Aditya Chopra and Bollywood actress Rani Mukherjee would be exchanging marriage vows after May. That is soon after Aditya divorces his present wife Payal Khanna.

But how are the parents of Aditya and Rani taking this wedding.

Insiders say that the parents on either side have not approved this marriage. In case of Aditya both his parents Yash Chopra and his mom Pamela still like their first bahu and have not given their consent for Adi marrying Rani. And from Rani's side either the parents have not given a green signal.

But insiders who are close to both Rani and Aditya say that once the divorce between Adi and Payal is finalized Adi will tie the knot to Rani.

A couple of months back there was a rumor that Rani and Aditya have been engaged, but both the parties involved strictly denied the news. Now with this news of a marriage round the corner between the two, only time will tell if this is solid news or just another rumor.

Aditya divorcing to marry Rani Mukherjee?

Filmmaker Aditya Chopra, son of producer Yash Chopra, has filed a divorce petition before a family court in Mumbai with wife Payal Khanna, spurring up speculations that he is marrying Rani Mukherjee.

The mandatory six months period granted by the court to reconsider their decision is getting over in May. The estranged couple had opted for an out-of-court settlement after three joint meetings. Payal is expected to get more than Rs.20 crore and a spacious bungalow in Juhu.

Meanwhile, Aditya's family is said to be not too happy with the decision. They get along so well with Payal Khanna but Aditya is adamant that he divorce his wife of five years. It was rumoured that Rani Mukherjee's relationship with Aditya is the reason for the breakup.

Well, it looks like Aditya is ready to do anything for his Rani!
